Looking for a fractional controller? Find out who should check the books.
Four quick taps. Then a free call about your last month.
Checked before anyone relies on it.
Your free month-end close check is ready to start. Where should we reach you?
How the free close check works
- Answer four questionsAbout a minute. It shows how your books are set up.
- Pick a time for a video callBring your last bank statement and your profit and loss if you have them.
- Leave knowing what is openWhat agrees with the bank, what does not, and what a controller would check each month.
A check, not a rewrite
The call looks at one recent month. We put your books next to the statements and see what agrees. Nothing gets changed while we look, and you do not have to replace your bookkeeper.
Some months will turn out fine. Others will show a loan that does not match or a balance that never clears. Either way, you will hear which and why. The practice prepares statements and issues no signed report on them.
Steven Palmieri is a Tax CFO and the Entrepreneur's CFO. The practice is not a CPA firm and does not sign audit or assurance reports.
Start the free checkQuestions people ask first
Is the close check really free?
Yes. There is no charge for the call and nothing to sign. Any paid work afterward comes with its fee in writing first.
Do I have to replace my bookkeeper?
No. The bookkeeper keeps entering, and the checking sits on top of that work.
What should I bring?
Your latest bank statement and a profit and loss are enough. If you have neither, tell us and we will work from what you do have.
Who will I talk to?
You will talk with the Steven Palmieri practice by video. Steven Palmieri works as a Tax CFO, known as the Entrepreneur's CFO.
